Hello again,
I have alot of questions today 🙂
In the Spring I sold an item in the UK, a piece of art (print), the buyers is a really nice person, so we would message each other every now and then, talking art and the framing of the prints I had sold him etc..
One day, we were chatting about small stuff, and told him I would send him a can of Canadian Maple Syrup (the best the world of course) haha. I'm pretty new to Ebay, but discovered that that his personal information as his mailing address is no longer available after 90 days. We can't exchange that kind of personal information in Ebay messages. I thought about chatting with an Ebay agent on the best way to go about it?
Anyone has a answer/solution?
Merci
Pierre

Since you have been in a transaction, you should be able to send and receive email and postal addresses. Did you try?
Also if your sale was back when we were all still in Paypal, the address will still be there.
I'm not sure how long Managed Payments keeps records. PP was about three years.

Thanks femme,
The sale was around March/April, it done via Paypal
I didn't want to do it and go against their policies, and be slapped on the hand 🙂
So it would not be a problem if he wouldsend he his mailing address with Ebay message?...then I will go forward and ask him to send it.
Thanks femme, you seem to be an expert here, a Star 🙂

Wouldn't there be an issue in this situation for exchanging information even if there was technically no money changes hands or otherwise as a transaction outside of ebay?
