pjcdn2005, are you referring to this list:
Yes. There will be no free fixed price listings in those categories for non store owners unless there is a special promo.

But you can list in Auction format with BIN and/or Best Offer.

eBay.com has a new listing format where you list an item and get 3 free relists. You have to check an option in the online Sell Your Item form. eBay.com USA has had this new format for almost a year.
In this recent weekly eBay session, I asked about this new format.
http://community.ebay.ca/t5/Weekly-Board-Hour-Session/April-23rd-2014-Weekly-Board-Hour/m-p/226972
My question is in post #13, eBay reply in post #15 says it is coming to eBay.ca soon.
Maybe it will come in June also. If so, it will give sellers the options to relist 3 time free and it is done automatically. Now I do not know if the first listing can be a free one from your monthly allotment. I do not know if it is for non-store or store. My understanding is that it can be auction or fixed price format and any duration (other than GTC and the special 10 day upgrade charge for 10 day auctions).
If this is implemented and can apply to listings, then this would be a nice perk. One of the 50 free can turn into 3 more free relistings. But I am probably dreaming about this being allowed to make all 50 free (100 soon) on a non-store account in 3 free relists for free.

I hate the fact that free listings will now be for a maximum of 10 days instead of 30.... More relisting...that sucks...
I might get a store for that reason alone....
I just re-read the announcement and I didn't see anything about a max. of 10 days for free listings. Can anyone tell me where to find that?

I did not see that and as far as I can tell, it is a misunderstanding on that posters part.

If you list on eBay.ca, June1 st. If you list on eBay.com, May 15. If you list on both sites, pay attention to the two different dates.
That's interesting. But I wonder if it could be a typo that .ca made.
Not a typo. I asked Rodney at eBay.ca by forum message and he confirmed it was June 1st.

Auction - Maximum 10 days
Fixed Price - Maximum 30 days
Apples and oranges makes confusing fruit juice!
Where are all the sellers who don't list in the affected categories? Why are they not cheering because their free allotment just doubled? Where are the Auction sellers whose allotment just doubled?
Here's what non-store sellers will now get for FREE.
- 3 times Auto-relisting
- BIN on Auctions
- 100 Free listings (for Auction or FP in some categories, Auctions only in a few others)
- Bonus free listings by using both .com and .ca
- Free Scheduling

Regarding the 3 times auto listing....
I've read on some of the .com boards that not all sellers are seeing it and I don't see it when I list on .com. I wonder if it is an invitation only benefit?

I was under the impression it was only for non-store sellers. I do understand it's only available to some users.

Here is the eBay.com help file on the 3 free relist feature. Nowhere does it say it is for some sellers and not all or store or non-store. The help file makes it sound like it should be there for any seller on eBay.com.
I have tried finding out but did not get anywhere. This help file has been there for months (last fall). The feature has been around since last summer. Some have speculated that it is only for some sellers.

Until a few weeks ago, that option was not available to me. But since about 2 weeks, I do see it. Not on the first page, but on the second page where I confirm my listing.
