Hoping for lucky customers!

A customer recently lamented that they wished they had more money so they could buy more of my stuff. I of course wish for the same thing!

It reminded me of an interesting situation a long time ago… before the days of the internet….

A regular customer, who purchased $25 or $30 worth of stamps each month all the sudden bought many hundred dollars worth of stamps over a couple months, then returned back down to their normal buying level. No indication to us why.

A few years later they passed away and I handled their collection, where the mystery was solved!

The fellow’s wife told me that he had won Wintario ($100,000) and had splurged on his hobbies, I’m not sure she was happy about how much got splurged away, but I was one of the benefactors!

Given my sales trends of late, I really need a customer to win 6-49!

Maybe we should start including a scratch and win ticket with each order .

Hi Photo! A company (provider) I used to use from Australia did exactly that, every order came with a $2 Aussie scratch and win, theoretically if you won something you'd just send it back to them as a discount off your next order..... don't know if they still do that, it's been about 5 years since I got something from them....

Way back in the 80's when I did approvals, I had an old lady buying $10/$12 of topical stamps a month, month after month.

One day she sent me $100!  (that was a lot of money back then.)

"A gift from her daughter to buy stamps", she wrote

The following months she resumed her $10/$12 monthly purchases.

And life does go on.
