When you set up your Sell Your Item form you enter the cost of shipping in the International Shipping section.
When you have set up the USA shipping, you can choose again-> Offer Another Service***
From that list choose the countries you specifically want **to ship to-> UK, France , Australia, whichever
Enter the shipping rate.
Now.
This means the program will set different rates for each country you chose. Which means you don't have to worry that it is more expensive to ship to Australia than to Austria. The program will give the correct cost to the buyer.
Ignore the "international site visibility" it is a cost without a benefit.
Go to -> Package Weight and Dimensions.
USE METRIC. Canada Post went metric in 1974 and anything else is guessing.
Go to-> Exclude Shipping Locations.
There are dropdowns. You can exclude specific countries or entire continents.
This is based on the Advanced/Business SYI form which is much easier and understandable than the Simplified form new and occasional sellers are defaulted to.
You can change in the top right corner by clicking on -> Customize.
Basically with Calculated Shipping, eBay does the work.
If you want to use Flat Rate shipping, you need to do more massaging.
*You got the same choice with Domestic Shipping. You can use Calculated Shipping for Canada/domestic and Flat Rate for International.
If you want more about this click on Reply and ask.
** DO NOT choose North and South America. This will override your USA fees and raise them to International Shipping levels.
*** You can do this more than once, if you want to choose different shipping services. For example, you might want to use Expedited to Australia but Priority Post to Russia.

Go to Orders - Awaiting Payment, find the item, use the dropdown on the left, one choice should be to send an invoice.
