How to combine items on shipping supplies coupon?

I want to combine 2 items using my shipping supplies coupon, but I can't find a way to do it. I am not surprised that buyers get confused, maybe it's just me. Any help would be appreciated.

yes you add the 2 items you want to the cart, then either before or after you hit check out, there is a space to copy in your coupon number..

Realized I can model this without purchasing:

Use 'add to cart' button to select the items you want in your orderGo to checkout once you review what is in your Cart and find it is satisfactoryGo to bottom of the checkout page and apply your voucher code ; you can also return to the cart and/or store to add more items at this point if you like
