My first time facing a chargeback!

I get on my selling account today and wonderful... I got a banned buyer dispute chargeback with their bank. 3 months after sale! I remember this buyer buying then being no longer registered right away. I always wondered if should still ship items after seeing a buyer is no long registered, just got the answer. 

The item was shipped lettermail so i do not have proof of delivery! The buyer isn't supposed to be covered by ebay money back guarantee, it's been 3 months. The buyer claimed to the bank 'did not recognize the transaction'

Any way to not lose my money there? How i'm supposed to deal with this dispute?

It's unbelivable i'm not under selling protection and this was approved!
