Nasty Comment from buyer who is not doing business with me what do I do

I just got a nasty message from this buyer  who is not doing business with me and never has before he just decided to leave me a message about my product. 

I responded with thank you for your opinion. 

What can I do to stop him from sending me more messages ? Can Blocking him stop him from sending messages? or will that just stop him from bidding on my site?

Somewhat sure naming someone like you did in your post is a board no-no and might get removed along with another unwelcome message...this time from those that monitor/work for the boards.   If there is still time, you may want to delete it on your own. Your call.

Stick and stones... Ignore it.
Put the buyer on your blocklist.

Outing the member by name will only get you an edit, warning, or deletion.

If you have never been in a transaction with the knowitall, putting him on your Blocked List should also prevent communication.

I think there is actually a second step to blocking communication when you Block purchasing.

Like all the other posters here, we are members like you, and can only speak from our own experience.

If you have had a transaction in the past, you cannot block communication, but you do have a Delete function on your eBay Messages. You don't even have to open the Message to delete it.

Blocking a person will also not allow them to bid on your items.   Not saying this person would but  blocking  may ward off further complications from them

Unfortunately this happens at times  with some for whatever reason    best just to let it slide   and move on to others  that don't feel the need to do so
