HEY, why does the bag say: ebay.com? I thought Raphael told us it was ebay-branded as opposed to site specific.

These supplies are about the same price as I pay now.

My next question is to whom is this 'use this to sell on ebay' message intended? If I'm a seller, I've already sold something so I'm buying these envelopes to ship it. Surely, it's not a message intended for my BUYER, in order to actively encourage them to use my envelope as a freebie to compete against me?

Yah. My typing fingers are itchy. Since I LOVE Product Reviews so very much. Especially when they are composed by someone with an axe to grind.

Why would a seller on eBay Canada advertise selling on eBay U.S.A.?
Why would a seller on eBay Canada ship any items to customers in packaging advertising selling on eBay U.S.A.?

It looks like eBay wants everybody to go to their MAIN website, then go to their own country from there. I'm sure eBay wouldn't make separate envelopes for each site! (ex. .ca/.com/.co.uk/.it, etc)

they say they will try and find a supplier here to ship from Canada. Eventually.

Woah! The padded envelopes are 25% less than what we are paying right now!
Honestly, I feel bad for all the people who sell shipping supplies. It isn't fair that eBay has to some in with cheaper supplies and ruin their business.

Yeah why on earth would any eBay sellers want to encourage people to shop on eBay? Can you imagine if somebody saw a bunch of eBay boxes and decided to check it out......why they might buy something from a seller who didn't want buyers!

Totally would agree with you if Ebay had a good reputation in the online retail market. Personally I don't want my packages reminding people to that fact. If this is indeed advertising then Ebay should look into other means. In some form where they can communicate how good Ebay is to shop. ( excuse me, I almost choked )
How is everyones sales?
