Just accepted my first return i'm not used to it and i can't see any option to buy a shipping label on ebay
The only options i have in return details is to upload my own label, confirm i already sent a label, or that i can't send a label
I find this info:
But there is no print label option anywhere there. Is this normal? Where do i buy a label? Item was shipped lettermail at first

https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/cpc/en/business/small-business.page?
Gets you a Solutions for Small Business number immediately, I believe.
A card arrives later in the mail.
You can probably also get it at the post office counter-- not at postal outlets though.
There are some discounts and Expedited service becomes available. This is a business service and not available otherwise.
Plus the October free shipping, maybe.
The prepaid credit/gift card may be the solution otherwise.

Shippo will request a confirmation of (for example) your UPS account info if you try to do a return label using that shipping method. You CANNOT do this because it insists that the account be originating in the U.S., it will show "United States" as the account address country. You cannot change this on the site therefor you cannot generate a label through them. Canada Post (if you try to buy a label through them) requires a "PR" code which is a return I.D. code. IF the postal label on the original box does not have this, you cannot use their service. It's all ridiculously convoluted.

i have on a couple of occasions when a return was needed, had the customers send the item back c.o.d with cost of the C.O.D. included in the cost of shipping the item back only when the item is worth the trouble to do this it only last time I did this 7.95 plus tax - once I received the item I then refunded the person the shipping cost and also sent the 7.95 back to them - of course I only did this with regular good customers as most of mine are and have had a lot of emails back and forth to explain everything -- this way I have a receipt for paying the cod and they have proof they sent it back the item, and i have a receipt for my files. i only did it twice before, both times it worked out --- so it is just a suggestion when the item is worth getting returned, and you know the customer

The post you replied to is 3 years old. The info is no longer accurate.
Coincidentally, I tried to use Shippo for a USPS label this week and was unable to do so. They now require additional information. It used to be very straight forward.
The only easy option is to ask the buyer to pay for a label, and reimburse them.
