I have listed about a dozen items in the last week, and have not received one confirmation email for them. I have checked my preferences and can't see a problem there. Has eBay stopped sending them, or is it just me?
It's possible this was eBay's way to cut down on paper wasted sending these emails. 🙂 Personally, I always thought it was a handy reminder than an item/items had ended. Maybe that was just me??
No, I liked getting the messages. If I was running auctions, the Unsold notices would be critical. As it is, all my stuff is set to auto-delist under the Automation Rules, but I still like to know when that stuff has ended.
Hi Triber, It was a little attempt at humour regarding wasting paper. It seems I am getting my emails again. They seemed to poof for 12 hrs or so. Also had a few issues lately with general eBay mail being delayed or arriving out of order to my regular email address. Would get the Paypal mail and then 12 hours or more late the email telling me the item had sold. Or an email from a customer asking about shipping rate options 24 hrs after they completed the purchase. No rhyme or reason for the issue. More than likely a random glitch with no explanation ever to be uncovered
