Official eBay recognized holidays (Canada)?

Does anyone know if there is a list or a way to know?

Asking this of course in relation to uploading shipping tracking numbers for the U.S. next day as required.

This weekend could be problematic. For example today is Good Friday, always been a stat holiday to my knowledge. But the post office counter is open (in the pharmacy). Yet Monday the PO counter is closed.

While the postal counter may be open for a few hours today in some franchisees, NOTHING will move to Canada Post until next Tuesday, April 2nd.

Canada Post Offices remain closed until next Tuesday.

No mail delivery in Canada today or Monday.

eBay.com does not know nor care about Canadian holidays

Many American consumers find it difficult to understand how their neighbour to the North could have so many holidays.

Just print out your label on Paypal and that will suffice for the tracking info - cause it shows up as shipped as soon as you print the label - then mail it on Tuesday.

Good Friday and Easter Monday are just another ordinary day in USA.  Their post office is open.

My very first fulltime job was in a bank.  At that time banks were not allowed to be closed for 4 consecutive days and we had to work on Saturday morning.  Of course, that was in the prehistoric days before bank machines and we closed at 3:00 p.m. Mon. to Thurs.

It may seem more, but number of CanadaPost observed national holidays is the same as number of federal holidays observed by USPS.

By this time USPS already had 3 holidays, while Good Friday is second day off for CanadaPost in 2013.

Couriers in Canada do not close for Easter Monday. Also most couriers move mail on weekends. 4 days complete shutdown seems little excessive for national post office.

My body who work with Canada Post will go to work on Monday for half day to deliver parcel only.
