“P” Stamp postal price on International letter and Parcels.

 Our local Post Office  informed. “P” Stamp postal price/value are only  $ 0.85 on international letters and parcels ???

My argument due to Canada Post info. “P” Stamp postal value  $ 1.00 = Domestic postage price.

Canada Post info “ “P” Stamp Is always accepted at the current domestic postage price. You can also use “P” Stamp in conjunction with additional Postage to mail larger letters,parcels to send internationally”

Question: Will “P” Stamp postal price/value apply for $ 0.85 or $1.00  internationally  ???

A "P" stamp has a face value of 85 cents -- only those people who buy stamps one stamp at a time pay the extra 15 cent premium for buying less than a pack from the post office.

As Dennis said, yes, P stamp is valued at 0.85. Just replying in case you wanted to hear from more than one person...

The PERMANENT™ stamp, identified with the letter P in place of a value, is always accepted at the current domestic postage price. If you buy a PERMANENT stamp today, you can use it anytime in the future.

One PERMANENT stamp can be used to mail a letter (weighing up to 30 grams) anywhere in Canada. You can also use PERMANENT stamps in conjunction with additional postage to mail larger letters, parcels or to send mail internationally.

So the value of your "P" stamp is $0.85 today if used in combination with other stamps.  It will be whatever the then current rate for domestic letter (up to 30g) is in the future.

P stamps have a value of $0.85

The domestic letter rate 30 grams and under is $0.85 not $1.00

$1.00 plus any tax is the cost to purchase a single stamp...basically there is a 15 cent extra charge to purchase stamps one by one. If purchased in bulk the extra charge does not apply.
