Payment on hold…..why?

Funds that are on hold can be used to pay for shipping labels or issue refunds.

We may put a transaction hold on funds while we're confirming payment and shipping details. 
Has anybody been put a hold on their funds? This is a first for me and it doesn't make any sense. This item is going not to far and by Canada Post express service. 
Any thoughts?

Within the last month ebay put a hold on funds for a transaction with an above normal amount even though we've had a couple in the past few montha with no holds. Still had to ship the item and wait a couple days after tracking showed delivered. Not cool at all. Like any other businesa prefer to get paid up front for something sold. In the end all worked out.

Was this the crystal elephant? About the right price and not an unusual thing for you to sell.

Good to see that they did tell you that you could still use the Held funds to buy a shipping label. That should take care of the sending part.

I wonder if they mean the buyer's payment? But then why would they tell you to ship?

And you have been selling steadily for the past year.
