How about selling 6 cans of lysol spray for $255. Tell me that is not gouging.

i am not for price gouging ever, but this person starting the auction at a fair price, and people are bidding it up to a stupid amount, there is a huge difference.. If they started the auction at 250$ then it would be a problem..

The seller started his auction at a reasonable $35.92, plus $15+ shipping for six spray cans of Lysol. About $8 a can, delivered. Not unusually high.
The shipping sounds right based on Canada Post rates, although CPO may not accept spray cans because they might explode. A lot of CPO shipping is by air.
It was the 35 bids in less than 24 hours that pushed the price up.
And I doubt the high bidder will ever pay. We're into "thrill bidder " territory here.

If this specific listing is Canadian for the Aerosol cans, they should never be mailed. eBay and Canadapost policy below. The eBay policy on dot com seems to be very poorly enforced.
