I sold 2 sports cards minutes after listing them with a auction start of $1.49,and a BIN of $2.00 and $8.00..got an email that a buyer bought them but at $1.49 each, not the BIN prices, and is asking for an invoice..I use the same template for all my cards, and not sure what happened or how he was able to buy them at $1.49..when I checked my active listings, they were still for sale,..ended those listings, and re-listed them to quickly see if they were correctly represented, and they were..how did that happen?..no idea.

What were the item numbers of the 2 cards that sold?

The email was from your buyer?
I think your buyer thought your Auction listings were Fixed Price, hit the Buy it Now option without noticing the actual price and was billed $10 properly.
Either he is confused or is trying to confuse you.
"I regret you are unhappy with your purchases. I am willing to cancel both sales if you prefer."
When he agrees cancel at Buyer Request.
Then look at his Feedback Left for Others, and decide whether or not to Block him.

The 2 emails were from Ebay..every document has the bought price of $1.49..even an invoice reflects that..stranger still is an hour later I sold a card using the same Sell Similar option, and a buyer paid the BIN of $18.00..if it was an error,he should have only paid $1.49 like the last 2..I must have made an error somewhere and not caught it.

I had the same experience about a week ago. Two auctions started at $8 with $15 Buy It Now and a buyer managed to get both for $8 Buy It Now. And, as you found, the original listings were still active once these items were "sold"! I contacted eBay who said to cancel the listings and explain to the buyer that it was a glitch. Definitely odd but fortunately the only time it's ever happened.

Had a similar glitch a few days ago as the buyer. Personally it's the shipping cost that disapeared. There's another person thread reporting something similar. It's scary to see it's not an isolated case and to know we can ship items and notice only after (or not at all) that the price glitched. Would ebay cover the losses?

Hi @femmefan1946! I have sent this over to the correct team for a review. Also if you can share either the order number or item number for when this occurred.
