I know, everyone makes these posts... but 8 sales in the last month and a half. I know my stuff isn't the greatest but it's never stopped me from making at least 2-3 sales a week at minnimum. The Post office ladies even commented they forgot what I looked like since i used to be in all the time.
I'm finding my heart's just not in it anymore but before i just have a big yard sale does anyone want to peak at my listings and see if there is anything obvious going on?

I noticed a slight dip too; so I added "Promoted Listings" on a bunch of my items @1% ad rate. I had never used it before but figured 1% was barely any cost (10cents every 10$) and it more than doubled my impressions. It translated to about 10-20% more actual views of my listings and several sales on top of that. I've now had the best month I've ever had selling on eBay in 3 years lol. Another tip; I'd add a couple "lucrative items" aka something more expensive and desirable for sale; to draw some eyes and traffic to your store. the most expensive thing you have listed is 54$. Hope this helps, goodluck!
Cheers,
Joel

Well, you have to keep in mind a new generation of buyers that eBay is attracting is no longer interested in garage sales type of items or used items. Most want new in package and modern. Just from a quick scan of your listing, I can see that most of your stuff is old video games, and other odds and ends.
I think if you want to pick up on sales it would be ideal to see what buyers are looking for. If you believe I'm wrong, you can always try using eBay-sponsored listings to get more exposure to your items.
Overall sales volume is going to be a little lower this month, most are trying to clear out their homes for spring cleaning and not accumulate more junk.

Ive never commented before, but the recent situations made me feel like it.I have been a seller for a bit, full time for about the last decade. It has never been this bad and Ive been thru all the changes here during the years.
I sell whatever strikes my fancy, leaning in the past towards dvds......(unfortunatly).Before streaming came along DVDs were a goldmine if you knew what you were doing.A copy for instance of lets say the movie Southern Comfort was 50.00 all day long.I was scrolling streaming the other night and lo and behold,yup...Southern Comfort. As it is theres more old westerns on streaming than in my entire inventory.
Yes,there will always be collectors of an actual DVD.But the golden days of selling Dvds are over.
As far as everything otherwise in general, like many others,my page views are down 86.9 percent, which I would not care about except my sales are down over 50 percent.
I have had the worst month in 10 years.Watchers are down 60 percent.
I totally get the gas, food etc. theory. Most people will probably buy milk before buying some piece of entertainment from me.
For me anyway,it has been the perfect storm.Steaming services, inflation, the ebay changes all at the same time.Add in Summer when more people are out and about and it sure feels like the complete destruction of my ebay business.
Anyway I apologize for being a Debbie Downer here, but wow the frustration lately.
If this keeps up I will have to memorize the phrase "Would you like fries with that"

We can expect a drop in Canadian sales from the upcoming sales tax, but for the most part our US customers seem to have adjusted to it.
And it is across the board for all Canadian buyers on any venue-- including AZ.
Canadian sales are a very small part of my business- a little over 5%. The US continues to be the big market even with our high postal cost handicap.

I'm feeling ignorant.
I know the Canadian CREB cheques stopped in October 2021 and the few who still needed help transitioned to EI. Other similar programs had ended in May.
What were the similar US programs ? I know they were much less generous than the $300-$500 a week (taxable) available to Canadians. And when did they end?
