I haven't sold anything on ebay since covid and im wondering if it is still the same. Someone said it is way more difficult now, mailing to the US etc.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

For many sellers, the "after Covid period" has been a down turn in sales...
IMHO, mailing to the USA is no different now, than pre-Covid...

EBay has introduced Managed Payments, which took over payment processing when the Paypal contracts ended.
This has simplified the payment process BUT:
Payouts are normally on Tuesday, so if you sell something on Monday the transfer will be fast, but if you get paid on Wednesday you wait a week.
Shipping rates are probably higher but Canada Post Tracking USA is now 53% cheaper than the counter rare when purchased on eBay.
Selling fees may be higher or lower depending on your category.

From 3% to 15% depending on category.
Returning sellers are treated like new sellers.
Until you've been selling for 90 days and sold 25 items your payments will be held until tracking shows delivered, or in 21 days if there's no tracking. They can hold the payment for the full 21 days if you're selling in a high risk category.

It is all exactly the same. In fact, it's easier now because eBay negotiated very strong discounts with Canada Post. So there is no need to use alternate carriers Chit Chats or Stallion, or to build up your own Canada Post account to earn a higher savings level.
The only thing they might be referencing is that sellers used to "sneak" goods into the USA using lettermail. This was cracked down on, and letters will be returned. You need to send goods to the USA using a parcel service like Canada Post Tracked Packet, which is roughly $8 for a package under 250g if you print the label on eBay.
