Shipping to Australia Small packet air

I have had a request to ship to Australia. I used to ship there a few years ago but has stopped doing so. I know to ship tracked would be terribly expensive but would consider shipping via airmail. Does anyone know what the cost is to ship from Canada to Australia via small packet airmail for a packet 100 grams or less. Not sure how to get eBay to calculate this for me. I do not have an address just the county or could calculate it on Canada Post site but then would not get our special eBay rate. Can anyone who ships to Australia help with this. Thanks.

If you have a Solutions for Small Business Account you may get a discount on Canada Post counter rates.

You can use that either to charge the customer the counter rate or the rate you are given or anything in between.

Also Google Maps -> enter the Australian postal code. You will get a map of the postal walk covered by that code. Now choose a street address (for your purposes it doesn't matter what it is) and work from there.

I don't currently ship outside of Canada and the USA, but you can use the eBay shipping calculator to see eBay's rates.  Remember not to use a ground service when shipping across an ocean.

eBay Labels will still process Intl Small Packet Air with eBay labels. (As a side buyers can still pay for Small Packet Air to USA but ebay labels will not let you use that service when creating labels). Small packet air to Australia from my experience is usually there in 15 business days. Tracked normally around 10. As long as the VAT info is clearly marked on the customs they go through with no difficulties. (Buyer does not get charged twice when marked properly.)  I attach a copy of the packslip with the VAT info highlighted - Minimum 2 copies)

PS. If you  modify listing to include Intl Small packet air / Intl  Tracked  this will let the buyer compare the 2 services before payment is made and again when invoice is sent. Make sure to specify  Australia. The default with those 2 services is USA for some strange reason.  With the discounts currently in place tracked intl is much lower now compared to how much it was in the past.

Are you sure? I added a few listings in the last couple of days, and the tracked international (non-US) service I saw was the same as my older listings. If fact, I'd say it's a bit more expensive now.

I don't ship as much as I used to internationally but the few I have had the choice..either air or tracked were comparible. It may depend on the country it is going to and final size. Better on small. More expensive when you get up over 500 grams. Because we can't see the defined rates with all the extras it makes it difficult to make appleas to apples comparisons. For me it depends on the value what I offer. Higher value, definitely tracked. Low value small packet air.

This is what we "should" be receiving according to eBay and a level 4 discount.

An easier way to get an address- use the Parliament buildings in Canberra.

This is like using K0A 0A6 for central Canada- It's our House of Commons

I ship my vintage jewelry to Australia with Tracked Small Packets. I don't think it cost more than $20.00 with the discounted labels through eBay. And it arrived there in about 2 weeks or less.
