Shipping worldwide tracking options

I would like to ship some of my better vintage jewelry items to some other countries beside Canada & the US but with tracking.  Canada Post is very expensive but I have seen other sellers using UPS with tracking for a lot cheaper. Most of my items are under 100 grams. Does eBay provide a bigger discount now with UPS than Canada Post for international sales?  Thanks

Are these Canadian sellers that are using UPS or sellers from outside of Canada?

Most are Canadian sellers but they are selling on .com in US dollars.

The discounted Ebay CP labels with tracking (Tracked Packet) are - IMHO - not that expensive.

Last week I shipped (250 g each) to Poland for  23 CAD, Australia for 20 CAD and UK  for 16 CAD.

Those are not bad prices for tracking with Canada Post to other countries. My next question is what countries are safest to ship to & which aren't? Also can I bulk change shipping options on over 1000 listings or must I do them all seperately? Thanks

Here is a list of the current countries CP ships by tracked and  any additional services. If you were to use customs processing could be in play depending on value and the country.

Unfortunately since it was released for Canadians it has only included CP, a limited small selection of Fedex services and UPS was never added to the Canadian offering. The only way to test rates would be to create a listing and then check.

Since you are on the "left coast" your options are somewhat limited and probably more expensive than  Ontario where I am located.

You should have a look at Stallion Express who have a location in Richmond

I use their service provided by PostNL, delivery speed is reasonable and the cost is MUCH lower than Canada Post, UPS, FedEx etc. tracking is reliable.

There is also ChitChats in Vancouver, with even cheaper Asendia (i recently used them to ship to Israel).

You can use the bulk update to change all settings, shipping included - 2.000 at once.

It's also worth mentioning, that CP TP has 100 dol. insurance included (most of yout items fall into that category), and their reclamation process is very easy and efficient.

Concerning the "safe" destinations, it's a tricky question 😃

I would never ever (again) ship to Brazil, Argentina or Mexico. Or Africa .... or China, or India, etc ....

I also banned Germany, France and Spain for their new crazy packaging laws, and UAE for steady problems with delivery addresses and returns.
