Yes, I'm noticing things have really slowed down from the delivery times I normally expect. I sent an item via Xpresspost on Jan. 7th and it just arrived on the 14th - six business days if you don't count Saturday. Usually the transit time from here (Nova Scotia) to the continental US is 4 days. An Expedited parcel I sent on the same day still hasn't got there.
I'm assuming this is the result of so many road and airport closures and flight cancellations over Christmas and New Year's that created backlogs which aren't quite cleared up yet. That timer of year is busy to begin with, but this year the weather created even more havoc than usual, almost everywhere in the northern US and throughout Canada.
I expect in the next 2 weeks we'll start to see things moving normally again.

Rose-dee, call Canada Post or file for a claim online for a full refund of late delivery.
Two of my packages by XpressPost arrived 4 days past the on-time guarantee and I am getting full refunds for both.

2 of my expedited parcels are past their delivery date but I know if I file they will say it doesn't qualify not a guarantee? But of course some idiot flips a neg at me with no contact what so ever! Even yesterday when I start a service ticket online & request the buyers phone number he doesn't reply. Can't stand jerks like that
