Hey Everybody,
Just want to give a heads-up on some strange things that have happened to me lately;
1) MC099 Listing violation took down all my listings saying I went over my listing limit for the month
(can't find monthly limits table anywhere)
2) Phoned eBay, automatic answering saying they are experiencing technical difficulties regarding the exact same monthly limits violation
3) I can now list again, ate up all my free listings from the promotion.
4) EXTREMELY WEIRD ----> Listed 3 items BY ITESELF and charged me the listing fees TODAY
Just really weird stuff, i've never seen happen before.
Anyways, I don't have anything listed anymore because i expended all my energy into that when the listing promo was on, just to have them all removed, and i'm now all out of free listings.
I'm really tired of having to go through and re-list stuff if it doesn't sell that week. I lose templates and listings and it just creates mess.
What is the best way for me to list and item and forget about it (good till it sells) or 30 day listings? Is this what a store typically accomplishes? I really want to spend less time re-listing items.
Thanks for your help!

As for how to list the items. Good till canceled is GOLDEN!
It can be IF you are actually making sales from those listings. If you are not getting page views and sales GTC listings will slowly sink to the bottom of Best Match.
Ending GTC and Submitting Again will reset the ranking calculation.

agreed. also they way i see it is... it never hurts running ads till they sell. if its not a popular search then yes it will get slotted to the end.
I sell replacement lenses for cars. as one thing. and i make them for a honda odyssey. in two years i sold 6 of them. haha. thats $.20 per 30 days. thats $6 spent over three years of listing them and $150 earned by having it up.

When I am not sure how many left free montly listings on ca or on com, I would click "Selling" on left side and then scroll down to the bottom and it will tell me how many left on ca or on com, so I would knew exactly how many I have listed and how many left of free listings. It helps a lot each time to avoid having to pay for the insertion fees. It is for my non-store account, not here.
