WWYD regarding address in Ont?

A new buyer bought a CD from me and the address is an issue.  I have sent him 2 emails plus phoned.  Address goes like this.  This is a made up address not his.

Info Made UP

John Smith  (not real name)

479 Made up street

615 Made up Street

Anywhere, On K1A 2X5

I asked him what address he wanted me to us.  I googled his address and he is a lawyer and the address is one of them.  I want to send it out on Thurs?  WWYD?

Does PayPal show the same address as eBay ?

Also, what street shows when the postal code is googled?

Yes same address on paypal and both address have same postal code.

If he doesn't respond then cancel the transaction stating there is a problem the buyers address.

Tomorrow morning, I am going to call him at his law office as a last chance.

I used to be a fraud investigator in my past life and I discovered one of the addresses is his law office and the other is where he lives.  So would you send it to his office or his home?   They are 500 meters apart, takes 6 minutes to walk.  Small town in Ontario with under $20,000 pop.  He showed his home address first and then underneath his office address.  Or would you make one last call?

I think the call is the best bet.  With a cheerful and polite reminder that the address doesn't work properly.

You'd think a lawyer would be bright enough to write a postal address correctly.

I sometimes write PERSONAL DOCUMENTS  on an envelope, if the address appears to be a business, so that it is not opened by the receptionist or the mail room.  Especially if it is not tracked.

The wording was carefully chosen.

If it is the same postal code, unless it is rural (first number is "0") then it is handled by the same delivery person.

With no reply to clarify, then I would just cancel the sale as a bad address.

Phone call is the way to go, that is what I would start with.

I called the law office and of course he was not available in court.  I just asked the receptionist which address should I use and she told me.  We will see how it goes.
