Who is getting tired of E-Bay siding with the buyer?

To all the E Bayes out there that are tired of E Bay giving refunds back when the Buyers are putting in clams that the product did not make it on the date E Bay states to the customer. The buyer can see a note on USPS stating delays and from UPS as well. E Bay either never talks to the shipping companies regarding the busy season or they turn a blind eye. Several calls I made to E Bay denied they was delays .  All of a sudden  yesterday they put out a notice regarding delayed shipping. As we all know E Bay will do nothing about protecting the seller of giving full refunds and loosing your product with the Buyer not paying. To all E Bayer's we need to come up with a solution so E Bay might step in for the Sellers for a change

thank you for your time looking forward in some great ideas.

When there is a Dispute opened, enter the tracking number in the Dispute and note the currently reported location. This usually extends the time of the Dispute.

Don't trust any promises from Customer Service.

I think eBay is in pretty regular contact with the various shipping companies with whom it has close ties.  The problem is that these shipping companies haven't made major changes to their delivery standards in light of the world going sideways, and the delivery time estimates are based on what's provided by those shipping companies.

eBay is likely assuming that sellers have done their homework and are satisfied with the delivery standards of their chosen shipper.

I don't see how eBay can side with the seller in the event of non-delivery claim launched for a delayed item.  Either the buyer is making a bogus claim or the buyer isn't.  If the buyer hasn't received their item in the timeframe suggested by the shipper, like it or not, their claim is legit.

This is a fight you may need to take up with USPS, UPS, and other carriers, rather than eBay.

Another late night thought.

We can extend our Handling Time from one day to five, seven, even 30 days if we have been having a lot of problems.

FWIW- anything bought after today will not arrive in time for Christmas, unless the buyer is willing to spring for Priority Post shipping.

I mean, it might, but we cannot at this time make any promises. If you're selling something giftable be ready to tell the customer that and allow an immediate cancellation of the sale.

Thank you for your suggestions and replies. I have decided to suspend my account until the New Year. hopefully then the shipping delays will slow down after the Christmas rush.  we all must know by now E Bay mostly agrees with the buyer. I am also looking into other sites so I do not have to realize that I need E Bay to survive. the changes over many years have effected the seller rights By E Bay I guess greed runs E- Bay

If you're having trouble understanding why buyers are prevailing in cases where there's no online evidence that they've received their items within a stated timeframe, then perhaps you do need to find another marketplace where serving buyers isn't such a priority.
