Regarding selling restrictions on my ebay account.

I created this account on Oct 15, 2021. My account has been maintained correctly since then.

On Nov 03, 2022 a person who bought goods from me sued me after receiving the goods on false allegations. (order number - 26-09234-99409/21-09236-43678) After negotiations with him and ebay I paid his money and told him to take my goods and closed the case with me making a huge loss. To be valuable and to respect my client.

Later, very sadly, I received a case that the product was not received under this order 04-09314-95064. I strongly believe that he must have received the product. If I didn't get it he left a message to tell me. As there was no response from him, I also paid his money, telling him to keep the product after receiving it.

I believe that I will never make a mistake. Likewise, I hold my losses in high regard for my customers.

This morning I woke up and checked my ebay account but unfortunately the following message came to my account: "Your eBay account has been restricted from selling" I was shocked by this message.

I hereby very kindly request you to investigate this and allow me to sellig with ebay again as soon as possible.

I highly appreciate your help in this regard.

Sued? As in took you to Small Claims Court?  Given the date I doubt you are using the right word, because Small Claims Court doesn't work that fast?

Or do you mean he demanded his money back because he said he had not received the item-- but did not open an eBay Claim?

Or do you mean he opened a Claim here on eBay?

If the item was valuable, was it tracked? All you need is to give the eBay Claim the tracking number as Proof of Delivery.

Even if the item was stolen by porch pirates after delivery, eBay will not require you to refund?

If he told eBay that the item was Not As Described, you can demand its return before refunding, even if youhave a No Returns policy.

You may have to pay for the return shipping, but even so, most scammers want the item as well as the money and will not return it.

Then you win the Claim, there is no refund, and eventually the cost of the shipping label will be returned to you.

This is usually automated and requires no "negotiation".

Is this a different Claim?

We sellers are  responsible to get the purchase to the buyer. If tracking did not show delivery  within the estimated delivery period eBay gave, we are responsible.  The buyer was right and deserved his refund.

This is the problem with dropshipping.

While you do not photograph, describe, pack, or ship your products, and likely have never seen them, you are responsible for any problems with the photographs, descriptions, packaging, shipping and delivery.

Your supplier gets the money. You get the responsibility.

Dropshipping is a Bad Idea.

By the way, it is quite possible that your supplier never shipped anything at all, cheating both you and your customer.

Most people are honest.

Some are not.
