Are they only going to Canadian buyers? I got packages yesterday and today (FedEx and DHL ) so it would not surprise me that some even many Canadians are not aware that CP is on strike.
More important are they going to US customers, and how would we know?

yes, Ebay must be doing something to snuff out sales. This happens every strike for me, which is why i've always kept all my listings active, even when i was much busier than i am these days. Sales for me during CP strikes usually grind to a virtual halt worldwide. So ebay is either not showing my listings very well, or sending messages to potential buyers or something.
The very few sales i would get during strikes, the buyers were almost always willing to wait.
However, this time it might be a very long wait. The gov't is clear that it wil not step in and both CP and CUPW are entrenched and not even negotiating. Everyone is losing in this siituatin, the CUPW members included. They will never recover the wages lost from the strike by whatever deal is eventually struck.

I stopped listing.
I ended all my PL listings on the basis that they draw attention to my Store.
I stopped sending targetted Best Offers.
As I expected sales have stopped.
I had to let some potential customers who had sent Best Offers that I would have to get back in touch when the strike is over. Those Offers are save in Messages.

I'm marking these items that I can only (reasonably) ship Canada Post (Lettermail) as Shipped before the deadline.
I have informed Canadian buyers of these small items (Cassettes/cd) that the items will ship when the strike ends and that they can cancel at any time. I also tell them that eBay may show their order as Shipped but it won't actually be shipping until I send them a direct message indicating that it's on the way.
I currently have 10 orders sitting but eBay thinks I have shipped them on time. The only issue I might have since these orders will not have any tracking is that when/if the buyer leaves feedback they might say no to the question "did your order arrive before X date".

Also, as per eBay last notice post, they will remove bad feedbacks with tracking.
Bad feedbacks without tracking might not be removed. It's a lot of risk to still offer lettermail.
That is why I prefer offering with tracking only. Way less sales... but at least, I still operate. Very slow but sales start to come back.
I think customers understands that this strike might last long and some are willing to pay the extra shipping, specifically for xmas, if we can deliver in time. With UPS, it's fast (few days only before it's in their hands, even in the states).

eBay also recommended extending your handling time, but yours is set for 2 days. Your settings say that you WILL ship in 2 days. Text in the description never over-rides the settings whether it is for shipping time, condition, etc. There are options for up to 40 days handling.
So of course eBay will send reminders, the systems are programmed to follow the settings sellers set.
In no way should eBay change this because 1 shipper is not currently providing service. Lots of sellers are using alternate shippers.

The tagline appears in all their posts.
It has nothing to do with you.
