eBay is phasing out "see other items" on Listing Page

I've noticed today that eBay is playing around with the buyer options on the seller listing page.

My eBay listing page only has Save this Seller, Contact Seller and Visit Store.

See other items has disappeared. 

Anyone else seeing this?

Could it be that because the "visit store" link is an option for your listings, the "see other items" link is redundant?

It seems like in a few areas as of late we are getting different views. I was able to see what you were seeing on 1 page but when I clicked on my listings was able to see see other listings link. As if by magic. The other variation I saw earlier was different totals displaying between Active Listings Page and Ended Listings page in Selling Manager. Information does not seem to be moving back and forth in real time.

I prefer the "see other items" view over the "visit store" view. I've used it for the last 16 years.

Yes, if you refreshed your browser the "see other items" link would reappear but not in the last hour or so.

Makes me a little bit more nervous(Okay a lot!!!) when I start to think about them "tinkering" with our Store Categories that we spent so much time setting up and arranging to our liking.

My non-store listings have two choices: See other items and Contact seller

I was seeing all three choices too a few hours ago but not in the last hour or two.

Since you don't have a store you will always have the "see other items" link.

There are dozens and dozens of features being tested on a random page load basis currently. Same pattern before some of those eventually became permanent like the truly awful store layout redesign.

eBay make and test new things every day and this is nothing new (although the rate at which they come has probably gone up).

I know there is a segment out there who wish things never changed at all but the same could be said over 100 years ago....."I prefer horses" in response to Henry Ford. In the 21st century those that do not constantly change and adapt will wither and die, even those businesses that claim to operate "the old fashioned way" simply hide all the high tech they have implemented behind a curtain.

On this specific issue for my own use I prefer the "see other items" layout but on the other hand I would prefer my potential buyers to be taken to my Store with my seller created categories, landing page and promotional blurb. When I'm shopping for myself I use the Store link, when I'm researching a seller I usually chose the Other Items link.

Whatever happens, eBay will test, collect data and analyze, if they find one produces more sales than the other that's what they will go with, if they find no difference they may go back to the status quo.

One thing I think is certain, they intend to strip down the number of links found on pages, too much choice leads to confusion, not for the full time eBay users but for the overwhelming portion of buyers who visit irregularly some of whom no doubt have never understood why there are two different options that seem to provide the exact same info albeit in a different layout.

eBay will probably keep both... non stores will have the "see other items" link and stores may only have the "visit store" link.

Since there probably going to make changes let's get that "print" option back on the item page.

I prefer See Other Items as well. It allows more control over what I view from the seller, such as Sold Items for what price. This could be what ebay seeks to eliminate. All that free market intel.

Yes.  They've been angling towards doing away with see seller's other items for a long time.  

It may have something to do with the difficulty of having that feature on devices.

It's also playing a role in the decision I have to make today regarding whether or not to renew my store subscription.

You can still get the "see other items" format from your Saved Sellers page under "view seller's items".

Yes they have always made changes but it seems that for the past while they have been in overdrive and it is frustrating how to figure out how to do something a different way than I've always done it.

I always use the see other items rather than the store link and although I see your point about wanting buyers to see our own categories etc. I think that it just going to be confusing to be able to search non store sellers items in one way and a store sellers items in another way. For example if I want to look at sold items for someone who has a store I will have to use search for a specific seller in order to do that.

Perhaps it is not a big deal but it seems like there are constant changes here and although I usually don't mind...it's beginning to get frustrating.

Another option for viewing the "see other items" format is from your Watch List page under the More Actions drop down menu by clicking on "view seller's other items".
