shipping rates

-I am in Canada and am listing on .com. I cannot find the box for standard I'nternational shipping to show a rate for Canada. Right now, my listing shows, may not ship to Canada even though I am in  Canada. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

@g_hosking I see a shipping cost right now to Canada on your China listing however, you are charging the same amount to Canada as to Australia, UK etc

To separate the Canada shipping cost from the rest of the world go into revise listing. In the international shipping section click on the arrow next to 'ships worldwide' and click 'destination'. Then check off Canada and enter shipping cost and service.  Then for the other countries, you start by adding a service...I usually use economy international shipping for other countries.   For that one you can either leave it at worlwide or click on destination and check off the countries you want to ship to.

It's important that you select Canada first so that is the rate that your Canadian buyers see in search mode.

When we list from Canada on dotCOM, we can only use Flat Rate Shipping.

However, at least in theory, we can set several different rates, depending on destination.

I have several instances where I have been unable to add overseas destinations after successfully setting up Canada as destination.

My answer was to find a listing that included both Canada and Overseas as separate rates and make that a Template.

I do have the luxury of selling items that do not vary much in dimensions and weight. YMMV.
