so did i call it or what..after the usa to canadian dollar free listing promos have dried up!!!!

as i stated hoping for the best, but knowing better said,  the usa to canadian dollar conversion has been implemented, other than the good till cancelled offer.. there is very little for us now.. so anyone who used the listing bonanza to list lots of stuff , even with a basic store now has to deal with the reality of relisting all these auctions at full prices..what to do, what to do..i usually carried 300 items in my 250 subscription, but with all the free listings i am up to 440, so now i am looking at huge relisting fees.. whatever ebay,, keep putting it to the little guy, and while your at it keep sending the big listing bonuses to the people who don't need them.. or should i say to the non store  people who you take a bigger chunk of fees from.,...

Why don't you also list on eBay.com -- a number of your items would fit there without any difficulty.

Unless it's changed you can have 250 free on .ca and 250 free on .com

Disclaimer: I'm non-store and I make sure to use the individual 50 free on ebay.ca and 50 free on ebay.com -- giving me 100 free listings on both sites combined. And I also made use of the 500 free listings on ebay,ca for the Canada Post revival at the start of September.

I may be wrong but I assumed that was the whole point of those promos from ebay's perspective. I know that I use them to increase my listing count over those included with my store subscription, and then either pay 10 cents each to relist or leave unsold until the next big promo comes along. Also, the promos are targeted but none of us know what criteria is used to pick their sellers. If I was really motivated, I'd switch some bin to auction since I have 500 of those per month free that I almost never use. There are probably ways to work at this to get more free listings if you are truly motivated to do so.

Any of your items that require parcel shipping or on which you want a tracked service, should stay on dotCA where those Calculated Shipping services are available.

Then move your items that can ship LetterPost/LightPacket at Flat Rates to dotCOM.

It would be worthwhile to keep your photos and descriptions handy and ready for both sites. I dunno how to work that. perhaps two separate TurboLister files?

Then when free listings come up on one site you can list those Flat Rate items on the cheaper site.

With a Store you do have a number of "free' listings every month, but that 'free' is actually the month's rent divided by the number of listings. I pay a nickel a month for most of my 'Free" listings.
