I did a lot of research of US Trading Assistants as there were not too many Canadian ones that seemed to have a good set up and this is what I came up with:
$3.50 to list (covers eBay's fees as the customer can pick their starting price). Then once it sells we charge 30% if less then $499.99, 25% if $500-$999.99 and 20% if over $1000.00. We started a minimum of $7.50 commission to avoid selling cheap things that just are not worth my time to list, and advise people to bring things that are about $25.00 in value or higher.
We made the local paper here

Had a good turn out from that in the last few weeks, which is why I got the PowerSeller status. There is one other guy locally who is trying to do what I do, however, he just got his Trading Assistant status and still only has a feedback of less then 60!
More information is at http://www.sell-ur-stuff.com and I am very open to ideas, good or bad...
