How long days or months does a buyer have after winning bid to leave feedback for a seller?

A buyer and seller can leave feedback up to 60 days after the time of the transaction (not payment).

A seller should have to leave feedback before buyer leaves feedback. If they are afraid of negative feedback maybe they know there is something wrong with item and won't want to address problem.

All buyers and sellers should have to leave feedback. My feedback #'s would be higher if all had left feedback.

I totally agree with you and have always left positive feedback immediately upon receipt of payment..

However, on eBay feedback is optional and some sellers do not bother with it or wait until received to reciprocate.

Since all buyers can only have 100% positive feedback (sellers are not allowed to leave neutral or negative for buyers) the number itself is pretty meaningless (a buyer with ratings of 2,900 or 4,900 do not make a difference to anyone).

It would be easier if eBay simply stated the number of transactions for buyers instead of relying on the feedback number.

It makes no sense for sellers to wait to leave FB.

I find that most sellers wait. So much so that I notice when a seller leaves FB right away . It's a nice gesture.

Sellers have nothing to gain by waiting for a buyers to leave FB first, while leaving FB right away is a little tick in the right direction.
