Hi everyone. We've found for some time that half of our customers need to be manually invoiced through the eBay mechanism provided to do so prior to being able to make their payment. At least half of our international customers, which is likely 90% of all sales.
Earlier this week, we started noticing that the shipping costs - as well as the shipping services that we specify in the auction - are no longer filled in. Which means that we have to grab the buyers ZIP, open the auction up in another tab, calculate the shipping manually (note: shipping calculates fine on auction page!), copy shipping amount, paste amount into shipping cost section, and furthermore select the appropriate shipping service depending on where it's going.
Needless to say, this has never been the case in the past. We would normally click the 'send invoice' button and all the information would be filled out correctly, we would often add a little thank you note in the note to buyer section. But this has turned into a 'process' to say the least.
Anyone else experiencing this issue? Any thoughts as to what's going on?
Thanks in advance, and have a great weekend everybody!

I haven't had that problem but there are a number of posts about on the .com boards and I think that it might be a glitch.....a temporary one hopefully.
I haven't had the problem with the Paypal labels either but some posters here mentioned it earlier this week (or last week?) I could be wrong but I don't think the two issues are related.

Yes, I've noticed changes as well and posted about it on another thread. When I send an invoice I'm getting a long list of shipping options which have nothing to do with me.
The options are for USPS but a one or two, such as Economy shipping, are generic.
I wonder what sellers are seeing if they list on .ca?

I list on both sites and have had sales for items on both sites the last few days. I haven't had to send an invoice but buyers have been able to pay and the shipping cost hasn't disappeared for them.

Yes, me too. I thought it was me and went over all my listings...ugh...hopefully temporary issue.
PITA!
Have a nice weekend 🙂

I had case like this 5 days ago with US buyer.
But I did not have to attend the Canada Post site - I just pressed "send information" and system generated the applicable cost which was Small Parcel for this item.
Therefore I presume that the proper shipping cost is known to eBay but it is not always displayed when is required.
