Mine didn't (yet) but interestingly enough, my FB score went from 100% to 99.8 without me getting any new negs or neutrals %:_|

What eBay did is factor in the neutrals from many months ago and made them part of the equation. Also looks as if they count neutrals same as a neg.

Bye-bye 100% FB score LOL!

Hey it's okay - I woke up on this nice long weekend to find myself at 99.1 from 99.6. Talk about counting neurtrals as negs, I had received a neutral from somebody that purchased 2 items gave me a great feedback for both but his cat got in the way of the keys for one of them. He apologized, but what good does that do me now. Anyway, we all know that eventually, ebay will become a five & dime trading store - look at all the problems their sellers from the US are starting to have because of opening in China. Some US sellers have started noticing a drop in their businesses because of buyers starting to get over the scare of buying Chinese and bidding on items from China (it took them long enough because all one has to do is walk into Walmart and almost everying that they sell now is made in China. I think they figured out that they can even cut out the Walmart middle man). And now with the change in feedback system, even some of US sellers have started to drop below 90%. To stay way above the game, one has to mass sell 5 & dime items where it costs next to nothing to ship. pierrelebel has done it right, stamps are a pretty cheap commodity to sell, cost practically nothing to list and to ship, one can ship to over a hundred people a day, no worries over any customs departments so it is extremely fast shipping and only a complete dead headed moron would make a fuss over losing a buck or two.
Have a Happy Victria Day even if it is a chilly one ;-).

Yeah, well my feedback amount only went up by a few, but I went from 100% to 99.2% because they added two neutrals to my score, one of which the guy admitted he made a total mistake because of being a newbie, and the other neutral was from an absolute bone-head that I bent over backwards for, and still he gave me a neutral.

How in God's name is a neutral now the same as a neg???? This is such B.S.

EBAY- WAKE UP, BEFORE YOU TOTALLY DESTROY ALL OF YOUR BEST SELLERS' REPUTATIONS!!

I woke up with 99.8%. First time in my whole life on Ebay (7 years) I am not a 100% anymore. And what is interesting, I am not even angry .. 😉 Simply I just ceased to take Ebay seriously. A dirty place, ruled by low-IQ people - I will make my own rules now - to make money. Nothing more counts....

I just became a powerseller yesterday May 18 and my feedback just jumped too. It went from 1109 to 1205 and I was at 98.9% and now I'm at 99.2% so I'm liking this jump! 🙂 Not really understanding why I went up I guess it must be some new Ebay policy or something. Either way sounds like for some of us it's more positive and for others it's more negative. In my opinion I think when you get a negative feedback it should only take away .1% for instance if you have a feedback of 99.9% and you get a negative I feel you should only go down to 99.8% sounds logical to me instead of going way down over one negative. Anyone else feel this way?

in the listing is:
Seller: for_baby_and_you( 3832)
Feedback: 100% Positive

Up from 1331 to 1556
Up from 99.5% to 99.8%

No Complaint on that.

But aren't they supposed to erase feedback from non apying bidders in the last 12 months?? 1 of my non payers feedback still shows up.

The counting of multiple feedbacks from the same person is - generally - a good thing, and is why many scores (numbers usually, not always %) are jumping upwards.

The counting of neutrals as the same "weight" as a negataive is beyond idiotic. Get rid of the whole "Neutral" concept as it means nothing anymore.

Buyers left neutrals for a reason, usually to make a comment WITHOUT impacting the score of the seller. That was they way neutrals were always seen, and now eBay has totally changed what they mean, months after the comments were left.

My numbers jumped up today too but my percentage went down from 99.4 to 98.7. I recently got two neutrals from a newbie EBayer who explained that she loved my items but thought my shipping charges were too high! Seems ludicrous to me.

The numbers are changing this morning.

My feedback finally went from 1937 to 2005... first it was on my feedback page... and then on the main page in My eBay.

The increase, I assume is due to feedback from multiple purchases.

----------------------------------------

The new number makes Pierre look like superman..

And he did not get to see that 1 with four zeros..

but then his 2 with four zeroes is rapidly approaching...

-----------------------------

I did not see my 2 with three zeroes.

I would guess the next step would be to completely remove the option for a neut. since it counts the same as a neg.

only the colour is different, maybe they should make those red neg's Flash real Bright!

since when is a neutral a negative, Looks like a new Law in Physics, ya That's Has to be it or why the Change.

I thought my rating wa going to change from 99.8 to 99.9.....It DIDN'T

I'm still at 99.8 but I'm a shooting star now, going from 8730 to 11870.

I don't quite understand how they arrived at my 12 month total number but you know I really don't care.

By the way, regarding the neutrals equals negs (I only have neutrals in the past 12 months) remember that for feedback ratings a neutral is equal to a neg but for the Non Performing Seller Policy a neutral is only 2/3 of a neg. It's also possible (I don't know) that for Best Match a neutral has slightly less impact than a neg.

The only thing that bugs me at all is that I was getting very close to Pierre and now I'm WAY behind him again.:_|

Make sure you check how your feedback was rated "how many negatives/neutrals" - mine was completely wrong and I dropped 1% - they are now saying (after an 1hr wait), to talk to someone, that the problems won't be fixed until June - so make sure you check your ratings, against the actual figures they used to calculate it. You work hard for a good score and then this happens!!!

My feedback jumped from 990 to 1116 this morning. (I was really hoping to see 1000 before the changes).

That is good but my overall FB rating is still 99.9%. I have only ever had one negative which was over 6 months ago. I had one neutral that was withdrawn.

According to my math, my FB should be 100%....?:|

my feedback rating went from a 99.6% to a 97.4% today. for the past 17 hours i've been desperately trying to have customers withdraw negs/neutrals that aren't my fault. Of course the feeback withdrawal form doesn't work today.. probably from its over-usage, but will try again tomorrow. Seriously, how the F do neutrals weigh the same as negatives. The word "NEUTRAL" means exactly that.. neither good nor bad, so why would eBay consider it bad. I will be leaving eBay shortly, I've been having a lot more success on other sites (won't name them) and alot of them don't have lucrative fees.
