Feedback is important but why make it more complicated?

FB for shipping charges? Exactly! eBay wants us to incorporate the cost of shipping in asking price to charge us more for final value fee....

In the future, try asking FedEx to flag it as Cautious or Careful shipping. I don't know if they do but I know Purolator does. They charge about an extra $10 fee but in this way the package does not end up on their system of conveyor belts and escalators. Goods flagged as Cautious/Care are only handled by human hands... which isn't necessarily safer but it is easier on the package.

The above only works with Purolator when shipping in Canada however. Purolator shipments entering the US are handed off to DHL which would mean I'd have to pay the $10 fee again. I don't know if FedEx and UPS pass goods over when they cross the border so you'd have to call and see what they can offer.

it must be hard making money selling fragile items. sounds to be quite stressful as well.

back on subject somewhat. i must say ebay should consider explaining the ratings and what they are meant for a little better. my shipping cost star is the lowest star rating i have and i do not charge shipping. hopefully it will not effect my sales, but i'm sure it may make people wonder what and where the problem is with my shipping costs. they could start thinking that i hit them after the sale with some kind of hidden setup fee which wouldn't be very good for business.
i am sure ebay will be constantly working on improving the new system.

What would possess a person to leave less than a 5 star rating for FREE SHIPPING?

I think that there are some people who just cannot bring themselves to leave a perfect score for anything they might rate, whether on or off eBay.

Maybe a person who understands that "free shipping" actually means the shipping charge is buried in the price of the widget.

You have 150 feedback for crying out loud!...Sellers like Ann, Monique and Rcped, now they can afford to do a little bragging, cuz they have the feedback to back up what they'd be bragging about, not just typed words.
Sorry, but you don't know me because a lot of my posts just erase. I never use eBay for business I use it just for fun. It is just for you: I have my small company which is make( I don't want give exactly number) more then 0.5M$ Can. Don't be wrong feedback is important for me! Because I sell items which I don't like or it is just don't feet in my collection.

You are absolutely right cello. We only hear about a small part of MOST PS's lives; the eBay part. I am sure that many Power Sellers have experience, skills and knowledge in other areas of their lives that "we know not of" and that influence what they do on eBay. Not everyone talks about the successes they have in other areas of their lives.

Why I should prove you anything I just told everyone I have fun on eBay, when I can sleep I have fun on powerseller board(everyone know it because of my writing on powerseller board I had suspension)

I'm not jocking, in one year on eBay I save $1200 US on paypal's fee. How much are you save money not using Paypal? I just lost my silver powerseller status. And I have to sell on $188 more to get it back(with my feedback just 155).
Now you with your feedback 4464! What is kind advice you try to give me!!! Are you platinum powerseller?
Are you try to give me advice how to increase my feedback or how to make more money on eBay?
