Wacko buyer raising h*ll X-(

Aargh! I got a wacko on my hands! Here's the scoop.

She buys 3 outfits. She goes thru my checkout, pays thru paypal. I ship.

a few days later, she buys 3 more outfits. Nothing. 3 day reminder goes out, she responds saying she paid. I say 'NO, you paid for the 1st order!'. She goes thru checkout, aborts and doesn't pay. I wait a day, then send a paypal invoice.

she responds, says she's already paid. I say 'NO, you paid for the 1st order!). I send the invoice again. She pays. I ship.

Today she files a dispute with Paypal, stating 'items significantly not as described'. Neither of her parcels have arrived yet. She types in a nutty message to paypal about paying 3 times and me ripping her off. Paypal denies and defers the claim.

Then, she sends me this email thru ebay, using 'ask seller about this item'.

i checked all my paypal and paid payments and you got paid three times and i want my mony back i paid you 67.74 for the same order and you cliamed that i did not i have the proof of all payments and the dates that i kept paying you i do know you can do this but you will not get away with this i want my money back today or i will file so many complaints with ebay,paypal,police,and all the law that i can send your way want my money today!!!!!

I responded with all tracking #s, MW invoice #s for the two separate orders, and an itemized list of the items she bought. As well as the explanation below. Haven't heard back, but it's only been a couple of hours.

Here's what I *think* happened. First, she was dropped on her head as a baby. Secondly, the dollar amounts are very similar, only being off by about $2. I think that for the 2nd transaction, in her paypal account the manual invoice I sent is marked as 'paid', then paypal enters a SECOND line-item for the payment, so it shows up twice (different wording) and is only subtracted once.

I've reported her for a threatening email, but since she isn't threatening BODILY harm it will probably go nowhere. I've blocked her as a bidder.

Have I missed anything? X-(

Since she's not sending emails thru eBay, they won't do anything. I just reported her to yahoo for harassment, but doubt if that will do any good.

I reported one of my whako Buyers to their ISP for trying to send me hundreds of emails over a 3-day period. We stopped them at about 40 per day.

His ISP suspended his email service.

You are right, eBay did nothing when I reported him about spamming, foul language, threats and FB extortion.
However he was eventually narud after a number of other sellers started reporting things about him in the months that followed.

OK, this was typed in about 18 point PURPLE, with the last sentence in about 24 point type:

i have not called you any names tell me what names i have called you expect friend .i am not confused and i do not like it when some one keeps asking me the same thing over and over you know which outfit i am missing because have told you over and over. this is the last email that i will waste on you you have made me feel like a lair and now i am confused like i said you can keep my money and the outfit i do not have strength to keep repeating my self .i do not want any thing to do with you i have not given you a feed back on the out fits because it never got here and why should i explain any thing more to you won and i lost so please leave me be i have more medical problems that are more important than a dress or you i will never buy any thing from you i spend a lot of money in your store and guess what some of these out fits are not worth much and as for you fee back well let me see you did not send me what i pay for and you keep asking me over and over the same stupid question's well i do not have time for sellers that call me a lair and then play all innocent .i will never for give for what you have done to me you have made me cry,i have had sleepless nights,my blood presser goes up ,you make me look like lair or better jet i am confuse i do not need this go a head keep my money and enjoy it have dinner on me . i will be back on the bay next week but i will not ever spend over over $130.00 dollars in your store you just lost a good pay you lost a good customer are happy now and do not email me with your hurting words because you are the one that is confused i do not need you and your out fits are not in good condition i can buy better ones else where this outfits are not for me they are for some family that i took in and gave them warmth ,food,shelter and they do not have much but i am willing help have ever help any one from another country and i feel like god put a smile in my heart and you are not going to take it away from me,so back off.i will be back on the bay next week but i will take you off my best sellers list and i told my church about you and we wanted to buy more out fits no thanks.and yes i am very angry with you because you do not care just as long as you just took my money you will not take my truth or my pride!!!!!!! i did not get my Burgundy out fit believe what you want !!!! it do not matter any longer i lost and you won are you happy now

Didn't someone write that the outfits were in envelopes that were taped together? I wonder if she just overlooked, and threw out, the center envelope?

Cripes, you now have her whole church up in arms and cutting you off from their best selers list too ... and they were going to buy lots more outfits from you.

So in summation, she has used medical conditions as a reason for you to refund her, charity to her family and others, you are (were) one of her best friends, the church is on her side, you are from a diferent country so you should want to help out, you have confused her so you owe her, she is one of your best customers so you owe her, what you sold her are not worth what she pais so you owe her ...

That pretty well sums up about every excuse I have heard why someone should refund a Buyer or send them something free.

I would suggest that she write a book about scamming Sellers and sell it on eBay however it would end up being 278 pages written in purple and all in one very long, run on sentence with at least 28,000 spelling mistakes. Or maybe I am just a "lair"!

Be fair Malcolm -- I spotted a period in that last one. So that's two, not-quite-so-long sentences.

Whew! Does that, maybe, mean you've heard the last of her? I sure hope so - I think I'd rather take the neg and move on, than have to clutter my inbox with that litany!

That comment about the envelopes taped together I just can't fathom. The 3 outfits were shipped in one large #7 envelope. She refuses to explain.

Probably te 3-envleope problem that she is referring to are for items shipped from another Seller and she has you and the other Seller mixed up.

Interesting thought. Can a narud eBayer leave FB when re-instated to eBay with another userid?

I didnt think that it was possible because of having a different userid than before.

I haven't responded to her last email.

I just don't know wht to say that won't infuriate her more! Obviously she doesn't believe that I don't have her outfit, and it appears I can't convince her that there is no sound reason for me to be a 'lair' about this.

Its not always important to have the last word, so not emailing a response is probably the wisest thing to do at this point.

Unless someone physically walked her through each transaction while sitting beside her, expaining fully what she did, what PayPal did, what you did etc., there is no way she is going to grasp what happened and if she got all that she paid for.

Its like trying to convince a blind man you are wearing a purple outfit. If he doesnt want to belive what you are wearing is purple, how would you explain it in an email in a way that would convince him.

Like a blind man, she is unable to read your emails to get any understanding of what you are saying and like a blind man, she has know way of knowing whether you are telling the truth or not, but they will both believe only what they choose to believe.

Yup, I definitely feel like I'm talking to the wall. My cats have a better grasp of the issue than she does.

I believe that she has,in the very least, advanced secondary depression. She may, or may not, be getting psychiatric help. She certainly needs it. Perhaps the provincial cutbacks have prevented her from getting help the help she needs.

It could be inflamatory but candor could be the best thing for her. You could tell her that she's welcome to take the e-mail transcripts to a psychiatrist (in the context of treating depression.)

Hopefully this will be my last update. I reported her to eBay again, with her last email which included my previous email to her as well as her 2nd last email. Received this back:
