IE:
Item listed as iPhone 5 case for $0.99 with optional colours.
When you go to buy it and pick ANY colour, the price triples.
The only option to keep the price at 0.99 is for screen protectors not even listed in the title. I find more and more like this every day. Getting very frustrated in trying to filter out the best deal.

It's a sneaky way to get more views. In my opinion, it'll probably cause more problems for the seller.
If the title honestly says nothing about screen protectors you can always report the listing to ebay for it being misleading.

Change your Search from "Best Match" or "Lowest Price" to Highest Price first.
This will knock out all those sketchey lowball ads, or most of them anyway. Then you can scroll down through the very high priced stuff quickly and get to the reasonably priced and described doo-hickeys that fit your budget.
