can buyer's max bidding price be seen by seller before bid ends? if a starting price is from $100 and my max bidding price is $200 on an incrementally automatic bidding, can seller see my max $200 or can seller only see each incremental bidding price? the reason is seller may try to bump my bidding price from a different ID.

No. Seller does not see your bid limit -- only what your current bid is.

No, the Seller cannot see your high bid.... shill bidding will happen in small increments.
If the current bidding is 100.00 and you have a maximum bid of 200.00 then a unscrupulous seller can have a friend bid the item up in small increments like, 5.00 or 10.00 at a time.
Remember that shill bidding is done not to win, but to increase the price of the item on the highest bidder.

When I want to win an auction, I wait to place my bid until the last seven seconds and then put in an amount 20 per cent higher than I want to pay just to ensure I'm not outbid by $1.50, and I don't use a bid service. I think bidding services are what ruined ebay auctions. You need to be placing the bid yourself to feel the thrill of winning. Anyway, my method works every time but the once that I lost internet connection at a crucial moment. So that was a technical error. The tactic, however, is foolproof.

Sniping Programs are very convenient and did not ruin auctions. Unless you live on your computer and can participate in every auction you are watching then a sniper program is an asset.
Bidding on live auctions is also fun but it can be very time consuming.....
