While i have been up for the month, the last three days have been slow. It happens.
Ride it out for now, check your margins at the end of the month & make some adjustments if necessary.
I wouldn't fret just yet.

You sell nice stuff.
Over 50% of eBay sales are done over mobile devices. Look at your first three words as those are what show.
Would you search for Pretty new! Vintage? NTW women's leopard?
You are writing your titles like sentences. Do NOT do that. String together keywords with the three most important words first. This is tough, not my element. Car parts are where I am. The priciples, however, are the same.
Pretty New! Vintage pearl cream floral lace collar lace necklace, Swaanco JL17
Could be
Swaanco Lace Necklace Collar Floral New Vintage JL17 Pearl Cream Accent
or
Lace Necklace Collar Swaanco, etc.
Get your keywords, hooks, in first.

Good advice from Inuk regarding your titles.
I have found it slow this month too. This is income tax month and, as I recall, things slow down every year at this time and then pick up again when:
1. Income tax returns are filed.
2. Income tax refunds are received.

It is not slow for me. My sales increase in direct proportion to the effort I put in. Income tax, luck, seasons have nothing to do with my sales.
My effort determines my sales.

Well good for you! The rest of us loafers should take a lesson from you.

😞
I'm feel really frustrated, no any sales over 5 days.... What should I do!?:|
Same boat here. Last 3 weeks has been really slow. Thanks for the great advice about reading the listings via mobile. I had never considered that.
Cheers,

Spend time with family, source new products, work on a website..to name a few 🙂

Western. Perhaps not everyone is "loafers". Perhaps some are high tops, boots, open toed.

That is a great idea Inuk. Lets find a distributor.
High Top, Open Toed Boots.
They would be very popular with the women in Transcona.

I've found it to be unusually slow the past 2 weeks or so. I think the combination of tax deadlines, spring vacations, and perhaps the recent terror over the Boston incident has kept people away from "pleasure shopping".
Unless you're selling items people can't do without, I don't think all the effort in the world will make any difference if Americans (our biggest customers) are involved with more immediate concerns or are glued for days to TV coverage of a tragic event. Discretionary 'pleasure' shopping is for less stressful occasions.
There are the usual predictable slumps (one usually around Christmas), but the past 2 or 3 weeks have brought an unusual convergence of events. I take the time to work on background projects and ramp up for the spring/summer season ahead (and chit-chat with my compatriots here):-x.

BB! Ya remember that so-called Cougar siting in Transcona about two years back? At night, in Transcona, someone thought they saw a Cougar, the feline kind, and reported it. The jokes that came out of that.
I think I have a Coywolf living under my deck. That or a bunny.
04-20-2013 11:41 AM
Everybody remembers that, though the cougar jokes seem to emanating from the St Norbert area now.
The press forgot to report that the cougar was spotted alone, as usual, outside the Silver Spike Saloon trying to find their way back to their home on Kildare Avenue.

That is deep in the wilds of Transcona. I was thinking Bullwinkles.

"no any sales over 5 days"
Patience!
You came back to sell on eBay a few months ago. It does take some time to attract regular customers. Looking at the number of listings you have and your sales records in the last two months, you are doing fine.
With less than 50 items listed, it is difficult to "average" data. The same situation applies to all sellers with few items for sale and slow turnover (less than 20 sales a month).
If the products attract customers, are well priced with competitive terms (shipping, guarantee, etc...) they will sell. There will be slow weeks and busy weeks, like any other business.
One factor affecting the overall business on eBay is often identified as eBay's listing promotions. Let's face it: eBay buyers have so many millions of dollars to spend every day on eBay. The fact eBay offers "free listing" to sellers does not increase the amount of money available to buyers, it simply divides the same "pie" in smaller pieces. Sellers who take advantage of the promotions will often see their sales increase while those who do not will not. And eBay has been running a lot of promotions so far this month, the most I ever recall in fifteen years.
Patience!
In the meantime, sellers feeling a sales slowdown may want to look at their listings critically and compare them to competitors.
- Can I sell at a lower price?
- Can I lower my shipping charge?
- Can I offer a faster shipping time?
- Can I offer a longer return period?
- Can I improve my listings? Better images? Fewer words?
- Can I make my terms and conditions shorter and more "buyer friendly"?
- Can any of these changes help my listings get better exposure?

Disposable income in the United States increased $210 BILLION from Jan 2012 to Jan 2013.

Disposable income in the United States increased $210 BILLION from Jan 2012 to Jan 2013.
I'm not sure you can extrapolate from this one figure to a conclusion as to how much, or why, Americans are buying from Canadians on eBay.
There are far too many variables to take into account, not the least of which may be the current political climate in the U.S. favouring "Buy American".
You would also need to know how that $210 Billion is distributed. That figure distributed over a working population of more than 200 million adults isn't a great deal of money. Besides, all those crooks on Wall Street who got big bonuses this year would account for half of it. 🙂

Disposable Personal Income in the United States decreased to 11923.20 USD Billion in January of 2013 from 12422.40 USD Billion in December of 2012.

The payroll tax increase (effective January) did make a huge difference.

Pierre, I know that, but, it is up from the previous January.
Rose, what I am trying to say is that the money is there. It is up to the seller to get the buyer to part with it. "Buy American" has existed for decades, so, it is just starting to impact now?
I chose not to hide behind excuses. The money is there. The customers are there.
