wHY DOES EBAY PROTECT THE BUYERS AND NOT THE SELLER.

I`m very disappointed with ebay and I wonder why they protect the buyer and not the seller. I sold a item to someone living almost to the North Pole he purchase a item from me for 25.00 and it cost me 25.00 to ship it to him. He received the item he says was broken and he never wanted to take insurance on the item and now left me negative feedback even though I offered a full refund even though he never wanted to purchase insurance for this item. I contacted ebay feedback forum and they refuse to remove feedback even though I offered a full refund. I`m very disappointed with ebay and I will be removing all of my listing and cancelling my account after nine years with them. Buyer as all the protection and the sellers have none.

Odd thing. I moved from Wpg to Southern Ontario, Mild Central Canada. I think this is the worst winter since 1998 ice storm season. Guy next door labeled me "The Curse". That is okay, I drink his imported beer.

If I was still in Winterpeg, I would be going delusional after being trapped inside for five weeks, with no hope in sight. 57 years, no problem. Up in Churchill with -55C, no problem. Out of the province for 5 minutes and I can't believe what I am seeing.

Seriously, though, it sounds like the worst winter since, about, I gotta think, 97? 98?, one of those.

Cumos! Folks around here buy winter tires to drive on bare pavement. Pavement that is bare 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Maybe, MAYBE, there is some snow on their driveway. Belleville, puzzy-pants capital of Canada.

Re: wHY DOES EBAY PROTECT THE BUYERS AND NOT THE SELLER.

I lived in Ottawa two years  before 1980... got married in 1980 and moved back to Winnipeg.

Spent one Christmas in Ottawa,  where on Christmas eve  there was an inch of ice on the road....

Winnipeg people have learned how to live with everything that the weather delivers.....  They adjust to the roads.  and they adjust their driving according to the roads.

The most striking thing I ever saw was going  downtown north on Pembina Highway early in the morning immediately after a snowstorm....  When looking at the southbound lanes... every vehicle  was the same distance from the vehicle in front... like a series of well balanced chain link.s  The two lanes were out of sync... but they were two balanced chains of vehicles with all of the right spacing between vehicles

Ottawa  has more snow.... less cold.....

In spite of the snow we do have more sun....

Some say that Winnipeg is ten months of snow and two month of tough sledding.

Don't blink... you might miss summer  that occurs on high noon on July 12 of each year.

Sun. You have no idea how much I miss the sun. I worked outside and sun tans in January.

Here, snow means ice. I did not know that. I have seen more ice in four weeks than I have seen in forty years. These people start clearing their driveways with flakes in the air. I thought they were nuts.

Not at all. Wait a day and you have ice until spring thaw.

This was not in the brochure.

Re: wHY DOES EBAY PROTECT THE BUYERS AND NOT THE SELLER.

Extreme wind chill tonight with a high tomorrow of minus thirty.

Glad I always take the week off between Christmas & New Years.

With the stats thrown in I don't have to go back to work til next Thursday.

If we didn't have to take the dog out for a walk & I didn't have to go to the PO, I wouldn't leave the house.

Re: wHY DOES EBAY PROTECT THE BUYERS AND NOT THE SELLER.

Buy a treadmill for your dog.

OR

Buy a Treadmill big enough for you and your dog...

and no more snow, cold or anything else that Winnipeg can throw at you.
