Late arrival/item not recieved likely due to covid 19

Hi there,

I was wondering what's been some people's experience/ average delays with buying items that are shipped from overseas? I've ordered a UK imported game on March 30th that was estimated to arrive latest by May 4th, but well it obviously hasn't arrived yet.
My shipping address is in a metropolitan area, so that isn't a factor, but covid-19 is likely the culprit of most late shippings these days.

Right, that would be important to mention: it's economy shipping (no trackig number)

There have been plague -related delays although the UK is slightly better than some parts of Europe.

I'd suggest letting your seller know that the purchase has not yet arrived and asking for a tracking number.

If he can supply one, you will be able to see where the purchase is stuck.

This will be temporary, especially if it has actually arrived in Canada.

International tracking is expensive, so the seller may have gone commando on that.

I have contacted the seller last week, and they told me that there is no tracking number, unfortunately. So we're going blind on this one!

I am also experiencing delays from the UK. Orders usually arrived within 1 week before COVID. The items I bought were shipped April 21, and they are still not here. Estimated delivery was "Wed, Apr 22 - Tue, May 19" which is tomorrow. Of course, I will wait longer before contacting the seller, simply because the first date of "estimated delivery" doesn't make any sense (one day after shipping).

I am going to wait this one out for as long as I can...hopefully things will get unstuck soon as restrictions are slowly lifted.
