SIMILAR PROBLEM ATTORNY GENRALS NEED TO GET INVOLVED
I sent the following to eBay and seller. Seven days late in delivery simply dumped it off in the driveway. Had a professional firm install the 42” subzero and dispose of the KitchenAid refrigerator at a cost of $700. Plugged it in no power. That frim did not touch the refrig but told me what was wrong. The refrigerator will not level due to damaged front leg levelers. Lower plate pan cover bent and cannot be used. Want a full refund of $5,275. The seller paid for the Sub Zero refrig to be simply dropped off in my driveway. Had to contact a mover to remove at night from my driveway due to potential for snow. Stop this firm from future sales report to Sub Zero as I will.
A lot of feedback between the seller and buy but no resolution. The buyer implied he was considering coming to Prescott Az from Houston Tx or 1,000 miles at an estimated cost of around $2,500. Not knowing this seller, I simply could not allow him to enter my house due to high crime rates. A lot of talk but no action. Absolutely no help from eBay. The unit was listed as having been fully rebuilt with no issues. Major USAF.

I’m especially confused about why a US buyer who purchased from a US seller is posting about this on the Canadian community boards. Did they run out of boards to post on on the US eBay site?

TRANSLATION
The BUYER purchased a 42" sub-zero kitchenaid refrigerator it arrived 7 days late and was left in the driveway, it was damaged.
And the Buyer is or was a Major in the USAF
They want their money back $5275, and evidently/apparently eBay disagrees so they want the ATTORNY GENRALS (sic) to intervene...
There was a lot of "Feedback" between the two parties with the Seller offering to travel and repair the damage, but the Buyer declined.
The unit was listed as having been fully rebuilt with no issues.
The Buyer had to contact a mover to remove (the sub-zero fridge) that night from the driveway due to the potential for snow.

Thanks for the transcription, @brettjet38. The only part I'm not so sure about is the part about eBay "evidently/apparently disagree[ing]" with the buyer. The buyer's only stated that eBay has been no help, but I'm not sure what sort of help has been sought. Perhaps the seller listed the fridge in a category not covered by the Money Back Guarantee?

Here is the fuller story...
...but I doubt the entire story.
Post
Had a SubZero 42 inch built in refrig installed by a large retail store. The eBay purchased unit was damaged. Front leveler brackets both are faulty/bent and need to be replaced, unit rewired and they eliminated the onoff switch thus creating a fire potential, bottom face plate damaged and not useable, water valve not installed and claimed to be new but was damaged by a piers in forced removal from say another refrig. Simply will not tun on no power to either the freezer or refrigerator. I have tried to contact eBay but no such luck. The seller wants to come up to Prescott, Az from Huston Tx to repair in my house. I do not know him nor will I allow him to enter my house. The refrig was falsly advertised as being a total rebuild and certified. I simply want a full refund and for someone from eBay to take the initiative and contact me.
Response
There are several issues here. The main issue is that a Buyer cannot keep an Item and get a full refund. The Seller has offered to work with you and you have declined. By having contractors come into your home to install the unit, the unit has now been altered. In many cases, that voids the Money Back Guarantee.
The option now is to open an Item Not as Described refund request. The Seller will have three business days to respond with a workable solution. By opening the refund request through eBay, both you and the Seller are more protected.
In the meantime, you could message eBay on their Facebook page. Www.facebook.com/eBay
