Been on EBAY 12+ years. NEVER had this happen before! Bid on & won 13 pairs of earrings (costume jewlery). Seller is 2 hours away. Total purchase is $12.87. COMBINED shipping (via Canada Post - "Standard Intnl" so not a courier service - just regular mail...) is being requested at $65.87!!!!!!!!!! Yes- $65.87 for $12.87/13 earrings! Never received a response to 1st request for total with combined shipping - except standard automated message from EBAY. 2nd message (personally sent) was told I had received the total with $65.87 in shipping. NO info is noted in selling listings about "handling" or packing - which I do ask about. Most of us on/in the EBAY work on trust & common sense. How do I (or any other buyer) puchase multiple items from a seller who says they will combine shipping (presumably because it costs buyers less & the shipping charges are realistic & do not go to the seller: a win/win). In over 12 years - the people I bought from were up front, reasonable, honest, in their combined shipping charges. I think this situation is nuts - and if it continues with/extends to other sellers will be the undoing of EBAY. I look very forward to your suggestions & responses. Very upset! Best Regards, Linda

I won an item over 2 weeks ago. The seller responded ONCE to tell me they would invoice me once they calculated shipping costs. Well......despite my SEVERAL requests to the seller to please send my total owing , they are ignoring me . At least 8 e-mails I have sent ...begging to PAY & have my item shipped...and NOTHING !! What should I do ??

I just need to understand the process. Not angry just want to understand how it works. I was winning with a bid of 13.47. I put in a max bid of $22.00. There were no subsequent bids until the final 5 seconds and the winning bid was $22.50. I had no time to react. If this person had a higher maximum bid why didn't a bid come through and up my $13.47 bid. Why at the last second did it appear they knew my final bid amount. Should their bid not have come in at 13.97 prior to the end of the time allotted showing that somone else now had the highest bid? I don't understand how this person's bid could magically show up at the very end just above mine without any indication that they might successfully outbid me. I'm not a sore loser just haven't done this much and want to understand how the system works.

I have been waiting over a week already and there has not been one single response from the seller. The auction ended on Nov. 20 and I made payment on the 21st. I have sent 2 messages to him and have been checking to see if he has accepted payment but nothing as of yet. I just want to know how I will be able to get out of this transaction. I went with this seller because I like to support the independents rather than the bulk sellers but I can get what I want for the same price from a seller that I KNOW will ship immediately. If this is the service I get from an independent, I will go with the bulk seller in the future.

Hello Ebay, I won bid for item 370688183970 and paid through paypal. But seller returned back payment with reason item/listing cancelled by ebay and he sold it personally to someone else same day. Whats my fault ? Why got payment refund not item while this was won in bidding? If due to any reason listing cancelled by ebay but payment was already reached to seller he should send it to the buyer but sold someone without even asking once to the winning bidder of the item. Being a collector this is really hurting a lot. Please let me know the ebay policy and view regarding this. Best Regards divyapuneetahuja

Hello. I was about to buy a few things from BestBuy, when i realized that one of the items only had a store pick up option, and since i don't live in the US there's no way i could possibly do that. So i thought i'd ask here if there was an eBay seller that would buy the item for me and then list it here so i could buy it. Even if it costs a little bit more than the original BestBuy price.
