We're still waiting for the house to sell ... waiting for the NPN number ... waiting for spring ... waiting for Josh to finish highschool ... seems like we're doing a lot of waiting ... LOL ... feel like I'm on hold right now.

Not that we're not continuing on with life ... just that it's all in flux right now.

It's been very mild around here, snow is melting quickly and I saw some snow geese today, and red-winged blackbirds.  It's also maple sugar season here in Quebec.  Spring is in the air and I am LOVING it!  🙂

Jannie, that wonderful to read...glad your products are finally getting the recognition they deserve and sales too. I hope that your house sells quickly so that you may continue along the path....holding pattern here too until my hunny and I are in the same city...meanwhile there are things to do.

Hope everyone's week provides fond m memories if not comic relief. We are experiencing springlike weather too. Just waiting for the Ides and Sheila's Brush.

Spent the day sorting out some closets ... anything that doesn't fit or hasn't been worn in over two years ... out to the MCC for re-cycling.  Obviously they're not really dirty ... but washed them all anyway.  Soooooo about half the closet is gone.  LOL  Been doing that closet by closet until we move / part of the preparation.  No point in moving stuff that we really do not need or use.

It's been a treat having such a large space ... everything could be stored ... however, I have no doubt that we will have smaller spaces once we move ... so time to sort/organize/re-cycle/eliminate any waste.

We could outfit another entire place ... too bad we don't know any young people just moving into their own space ... they'd have most of what they need.  LOL

hey friends...yes Sheila's Brush is headed all the way east too. Usually it is heavy wet snow that turns to ice and rain. But take heart, it's probably the tail end of winter. Yaaaayyyyy.

We've had a lot of snow this year ... hoping the flooding isn't too bad down by Winnipeg and that area ... they've had enough of that trouble already.

We also got a good dumping of snow yesterday.  Schools were cancelled and many people decided to stay home so traffic was light.  At this time last year, there was no snow on the ground and we were walking outside in short sleeves.  Oh well....it's coming!   🙂

Hiya Everyone!

Been a little busier than usual lately ... OIY! 

Minus (-1) and the sun is shining ... nice!!!!!!!!

Wish spring would be earlier, but honestly, if it melts too quickly ... it would not be good for winnipeg and places south of there.  We've had so much snow this year.  There is still about 4 feet in the garden and other areas where we do not shovel ... so that's a lot of melt.

Have a customer who wants a specialty baby soap ... un-scented of course ... all-natural (like we make anything else? LOL) ... but still wants it to smell good.  ????  Sooooo, here's what I'm thinking ... infuse the virgin olive oil - first press organic of course (castille is the mildest possible soap and that is 100% olive oil) with organic chamomile for 3 weeks ... instead of water; add organic aloe vera juice ... voila ... baby soap that they can be proud of.  They are wanting them for a promotion they are doing for their baby section ... with every clothing order over so many dollars ... they'll give away a soap and they will also have the soap available for sale.  Sounds like a plan.  They want approximately 10,000 of these made ... so I'm thinking loaves and slicing instead of individual molds for this one.

I'll be making the sample batch for this tomorrow ... already have the oil infused ... so tomorrow is the day.  Let me know if you want to try some of this (for free ... just pay the shipping) and let me know how you like it ... it won't be ready for 8 weeks (castille requires the longest "cure" time) but I would surely love someone(s) to sample this item.  Obviously, it requires use on a baby; but would also be an excellent item for sensitive skin.  I'll send along a sample of my facial lotion (day & night formula).

Other than that ... getting packed to move and keeping the house "show worthy" ... deciding what to get rid of (any new place will be smaller) just busy stuff.  LOL
