Unable to leave feedback as a seller

Are any other sellers having issues leaving feedback? I am unable to leave feedback since last night, so far its only 2 orders. See picture.

I had 3 orders last night.  One of them contained two items and the other two were single purchases.  The sale where two items were ordered I was not able to leave feedback as you have noted in your post.  The two single item orders I was able to leave feedback.

 

My work around to leave feedback was to click on the item that was sold and when the listing page comes up there is a link to leave feedback.  I used it and it worked fine.

I can also confirm that my last single item order worked, and the last 2 multi-item orders did not. I will try the workaround @edubb101 suggested. Thanks for that.

Same issue for us.

While I'm happy that a workaround exists, in the long term it is not feasible to use for a power-seller that processes hundreds of auctions each month.

So I do hope that this will get fixed.

We are seeing a ton of issues with the feedback modal, including

 

  • modal contents not loading at all
  • modal saying "feedback already left" when it hasn't
  • modal being populated but prepared custom feedback not being loaded (drop-down greyed out)
  • on submit, modal claiming that feedback was left when in fact it hasn't submitted at all (you can tell from how fast the message comes up, as opposed to taking a second or two on a successful submit, and confirm this by going through the steps to leave feedback for the same auction AGAIN)
  • and now the modal has stopped working entirely for any combined order.

 

Few attempts just work on the first try. Most times, leaving feedback means that at least one, if not several, of the above behaviours occur.

This is not a big deal for a  casual seller - but like I said above, for someone who processes hundreds of auctions each month, the fact that leaving feedback takes 2 or 3 times as long as is should, that time adds up fast.

Update:

The suggested workaround ("Leave Feedback" link on item listing) doe snot work if the item sold was one of several available. That link simply isn't displayed on those listing pages. Example: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/154463271368

 

I was able to leave feedback by going to the seller account's feedback page and using the link at the bottom there. Mind you, you have to find the auction by searching for the auction name, auction numbers are not available on that page. Which comes with its own issues.

I have also been unable to leave feedback for my buyers.   Wasted a lot of time re-loading page and logging in and out, etc.   Still no results.

I am still having this issue after almost 2 weeks, it is very frustrating as a seller, it is a pain in the butt to leave individual feedback, copy and pasted for each item in a multi-item order. Basic funtionality is broken with not even an ackknowledgement from eBay that it is broken, or that it is being looked into. tyler@ebay  Why does this "eBay site issues" board exist if eBay does't look here?

Just adding my name to the masses - can't leave feedback on multi-item orders. Has been going on for a bit now.  Feedback works just fine if someone only purchases a single listing, but as soon as more than one item/listing is added to the cart and paid for together I am unable to leave feedback on the computer.

 

I say "on the computer" because I CAN leave the feedback using the mobile app, however I need to do it separately for each item/listing within the order.

I have been having the same problem for the past 2-3 weeks.

The workaround for me has been to go to the Seller Hub Overview page,
then scroll to the Feedback box and click on the 'Leave Feedback' link in that box.

It takes you to a page where all sold items that you haven't left feedback for will appear.

Leaving feedback from that page has worked for me every time.

However, aside from the fact that you have to do this per item and not (as previously) per order (which, for us, may consist of up to 45 individual items), pre-saved feedback is unavailable on that page. It's a workaround, but it does cost a lot of unnecessary time to use.

I can't leave feedback for buyers that buy more then 1 iem from me at a time  right now and for the past couple weeks. I contacted Ebay and they are working on the issue I guess.

I'm also losing items from my Ebay store and active listings as well. I let them know about that too ... but unfortunately at the rate they are disappearing I won't be able to have any sales soon.

Another workaround if you are batch posting FB is to copy the first one and just keep pasting it into the rest.

It shouldn't be necessary, but...

 

For those of use who rarely track our shipments, feedback while not required is a useful way to assure our customers that their purchase is on its way.

That's been happening for decades and eBay won't admit it.

I have a lot of longtail/slowmoving items and often see the 16 month notice.

My workaround on that is to keep all my Descriptions and pictures in desktop files and when I notice something is missing, use those to relist quickly.

I'm not sure there is any relationship between the 16 month notice and the disappearing listings though.

Today I was able to leave feedback, in the normal way, for a multi item order, hopefully that means it is fixed now. Fingers crossed!

I discovered a work around as well and started leaing some feedbacks that way .....  in the manage all orders section I select the items I want to leave feedback for them click feedback. It works .... it just is a bit harder to find.
