eBay sent Payout on Tuesday buy it is not in Bank until Friday

Hallo every one,

eBay sent my Payouts/payment on every Tuesday morning and I received it on Tuesday evening (same day) . However, this time, it is not received until now (Friday afternoon). Contacted eBay and their agents gave the same stereo type answer that it is normal and takes 2-4 business. To me it is unusual. I am on eBay for almost 20 years and my payment never get delayed. 

My Bank cannot help with the Bank Ref ID that eBay provides. Bank has no place to put this Bank Ref ID in their system.

Any idea what went wrong?

EBay does appear to be not guilty on this one.

Most sellers get their transfers within hours of eBay initiating it.

The few that don't (and come here) it does seem to be a problem on the bank end.

Bank has no place to put this Bank Ref ID in their system.

Any idea what went wrong?

Did you just answer your own question?

The bank doesn't know how to process the transfer? Seems unlikely since earlier transfers went through.

There are several posts on this and at least half a dozen of us that do not have their payments. This is definitely an eBay problem as it spans different banks
