Adding tracking number to multiple item order(s)

Is there any way to add tracking numbers in bulk on a multi item order or does each item have to be done individually?

I go the the post office with mail requiring tracking.

As far as I know there isn't a way to do them in bulk.

I assume because eBay assumes that it may take multiple packages to send the shipment....

Cut and paste makes it faster...

(PS I'm speaking from the .COM perspective)

That is what I do on .ca as well but when you have 100 items, it takes forever

As I tell my postmaster, my "boxes are the things that make me smile" because usually they are significant items, or large groups of items (aka good $$$ value), so I wouldn't mind a day that I have to put in 100 tracking numbers, especially after this last very slow week... 😞

technically if all the items are on one invoice you can just add one tracking number to any of them in the order.... it is the same as when i sell 10 items, on one order, i get people who leave just 1 feedback because they know the others don't count or matter..

i have also purchased multiple items on the same invoice and only recieve one tracking number on one item.. i knew it was all in the same package so all was good..

It isn't quite the same because if there is no tracking number attatched to each item you won't receive 'credit' for on time shipment.

If the items were all paid for at one time in PayPal and you added the tracking number there, I wonder if it would show up on all of the items in eBay?

YES! I'm another .ca user who's tired of C&P'g on sooo many wins that are going in the same box w/ same tracking #.

If you use Shippo or eBay to create the label and it is a trackable service then it usually updates all the items in the order from my experience. I think Paypal labels work the same.

If the order combined at checkout, it should only require entering it once.

If not, one advantage of having a store is access to File Exchange. You can input tracking numbers using a spreadsheet which is much quicker, and upload it to eBay.
