I just had one take 26 days, ON - MB. Delivered today.

Luckily for me the buyer was very understanding.

It's the Mississauga black hole I posted about last week. Seems like there's a queue for outgoing parcels going west. I have several that sat there for 2-3 weeks... purposely no "outgoing" scans - just "received" and then 2-3 weeks later, magically shows up in Richmond (and then is dealt with immediately!).

I'm guessing the volumes coming out of ON are monumental, which would explain the black hole...

I haven't had anything tracked go over 24 days...yet!

This news piece suggests that not only are parcel volumes staggering in Mississauga right now, but that there have been COVID cases there, too:

Ahhh, cases there would explain the black hole.

I'm actually really impressed with the Richmond DC and my local service. It's been SUPER efficient!

I have a package with the CP tracking scan in Montreal on Nov. 10 and

"in transit" (Victoria, B.C.)  Later tracking shows "delayed"  Stay tuned for

updates"   Dec. 25 today and package still in transit--stay tuned for updates.

pre COVID my all time best was Edmonton to Medicine Hat in 45 days. Its a 5 hour drive from here to there, or 4.5 day walk. I really could have walked it there faster haha.

It's the busiest shipping time of year, and in the middle of a global pandemic, with hundreds of thousands dead..

..seriously..?

..and your complaint is shipping time?

You should be grateful that there are still people working to deliver your package.

Oh the issues we have in the first world..

Tracking when viewed through eBay can be wrong

Clicking on the tracking number shown on eBay might show that a parcel is in transit.

Copy the tracking number and go to the Canada Post website.. and  I found many times that the parcel was already delivered.

It is a Canada Post tracking number.... NOT .....  an eBay tracking number.

I am currently selling only  to Canadian buyers....  and no where else...

The US... and the USPS postal service is one big mess......

Too much interference by the most powerful person in the US!!!

@fordcollector6

2 Packages both sent Xpresspost from Calgary prior to the cutoff. 1 to Saskatoon was 10 days. Normally if sent on the weekend delivered the following Monday. Tracking was updated several times before final delivery. 2nd Package to USA has just arrived in Vancouver for processing. (Approx 16 days). Still needs to get to LAX/SF and then on to Texas. According to eBay Tracking delivery should be Dec 18th or 4 to 9 business days. Guess that window has closed. At this time of year all you can do is try to be patient and pray customer will do the same. As a seller and even a buyer it's frustrating to pay for a premium service and not get premium delivery.

I guess my 23 day package was fast compared to some!

It was shipped from Ontario to Alberta on Dec 8 with no tracking info posted from then until today.  I just got a notice that it is at the postal outlet ready to be picked up.
