I picked this up at a mission store and have no idea what it is. Perhaps, a bud vase? I've asked around at antique sales with no help. Obvious English- Staffordshire. 5 inches high and diameter. Printed Royal Winton with Gordon impressed.

Thanks for the responses. Yes, I've tried Google Lens, no help, showed a bunch of vases. I think this may be a poor man's fruit compote server, for berries or whipped cream; the equivelent of our cranberry sauce. I'll try antiquers.com.

I'm by no means an expert but my first guess would be dessert cup.

sherbert glass?

What are the dimension? Have you tried doing a picture search using google lens?

I'm thinking you may have a candy dish with a missing lid.

Bud vases are narrow and rarely more than 12" tall.
Meant to hold one or two stems of flowers.
It's an odd shape for flowers or bouquets.
Have you googled the pattern name?
I'd go for dessert or sherbet cup.
And now I have Leslie Jones' rap "Bowls" as an earworm.

This is a great forum for asking for ID assistance for this kind of item.

I googled sherbet cup and found many different designs.
Basically all short with a wide top and a short stem. Like a squatty martini glass.
This one was on eBay and I thought it was the prettiest.

I'm still of the mind that it's a candy dish minus the lid.
A Google image search for "royal winton gordon candy dish" yields a lot of pictures of candy dishes that are of the same shape and design.

For whatever it's worth, putting "royal winton gordon" into the search bar for the Replacements website comes back with nothing but candy jars.

That does look like a candy dish to me, but then again, what do I know. I only recently discovered what a Tiki mug is.
We really should have a "What is this" forum like Ebay US does.
I suggest you post there as I have done when I'm stumped.
