The last few promos have all been Auction or Fixed Price the latter end when somebody buys it which could be 5 minutes after listing. Of course there of things which are in no way related to Christmas purchases so timing is somewhat irrelevant.
Then there are people like me who buy stuff at this time of year as "Christmas presents" for themselves, Once I've bought them (and I pulled the trigger on several in the past couple of days) I don't care when they arrive.
In any event, anything I sell to the USA by the 20th (before 2:00pm Eastern) will likely be delivered by the 24th. Same goes for anything sent Lettermail within Canada and even local Expedited.
