Charges on Canadian items shipped to US

Does anyone know ar what dollar limit the US start charging duties on items shipped from Canada. Have a very nice potential buyer asking. I indicated to her that most states have easy collect sales tax but was not sure about other. This item will be under $60. I know I have never had anyone tell me that had to pay duties.

Your item is well under the US$800 limit for duty-free on a mailed shipment.

As you probably already know, eBay will charge the customer the appropriate sales taxes as part of their payment.

Customs is not a problem for most shipments to the USA.
