China CCO Canada Post Tracked USA: Item go without tariff to US? How often your buyers refuse pay?

Is Canada Post Tracked USA always going to be the tariffs or is it just some get the tarriff?

I buyer wants a China COO item no matter what and they want to pay no matter what tariffs. So I am thinking sending this by normal Canada Post Tracked USA package since I think the risk of this returned is low and buyer wants to pay for tariffs.

And what is your experience with buyers? Does it happen often buyers refuse to pay the tariffs?

Let's assume the package is not some coins or stamps, but real goods, like chinese made bags etc.

Forgot to add:

If Canada Post Tracked USA package with China COO item, how much does the buyer get charged?

When does the money get collected, by USPS when the package is delivered / picked up at the USPS office there?

And what is the total they get charged?
54% for tarriffs (let's assume that is the rate)

+ broker fee

+ processing fee
? what else

So let's say item is 100 USD selling price on Ebay and there was 10 USD shipping charged extra. So the tariffs is calculated on 110 USD I assume?

And how much is the actual brokerage / processing fee?

I want to know what to expect and what shoudl I tell buyers.

There is no evidence anywhere on the internet of a single <$800 USD package being sent from Canada to the USA via Canada Post (or via any country's national postal service) being charged tariffs (or any fees whatsoever) upon delivery, regardless of Country of Origin. If anyone has any evidence to the contrary, I emplore you to share it as it would be the first such evidence I have personally seen.

At this time, US CBP does not have the manpower or time to be assesing every postal import entering the country. And USPS does not have the means to reliably collect these fees and remit them to the government.

So maybe I should stop incouraging US buyers to cancel purchases. I made over 4000 dollars of Sales since tariffs and I had to ask buyers to cancel them. In some cases we had conversations mostly them saying how the US administration sucks and they can't buy things.

So yes, that's what I wanted to hear, how often buyers receiving Canada Post packages are actually charged.

Looks like I am just full tin head about the tariffs.

Thanks.

I have also found no evidence of the tariff actually being charged on postal items from Canada either, and I've read every forum, Reddit, etc that I could find. I personally have had several items received by buyers via CanadaPost/USPS that were COO China (properly declared as such) and no one has been charged a tariff. Maybe that is not the case if you're using UPS, Fedex etc.---I am exclusively shipping via CanadaPost.

I am going to ship as usual until I actually get a customer who gets charged. I will reassess then.

I, too, ask sellers to let others know here if they actually have a customer get dinged with a tariff for postal item.
